The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition
We confirmed to the world that Bugatti were building a Super-Veyron – The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – a few weeks ago. We heard from a friend of Cars UK who had placed his order for the 1200hp Super Veyron, so we knew it was real and we knew it would get a few cosmetic tweaks to make it stand out from the regular Veyron, as well as the much anticipated hike to 1200 horses. A week later we got sent what was claimed to be the first photo of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, but which turned out to be a very impressive rendering by a Hungarian Auto Artist.
Another year and another few hundred new cars and trucks have driven through the Autoweek garage for editorial evaluation. To what end? Well, other than giving you our unvarnished opinions, it really comes down to this—when we present the annual Autoweek Best of the Best/Car and Best of the Best/Truck awards.

This is Audi’s new TTS - the most powerful TT to date. Quattro is standard, helping to put 268bhp and 258lb ft safely to the ground, as well as helping the coupe claw to 62mph in just 5.2 seconds. Using a tweaked version of the Audi S3 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, the TTS will run on to a limited top speed of 155mph, in coupe or cabrio form.
